My Plead to win the JVC Everio Giveaway

I so badly want to win a JVC Everio camcorder . The only camcorder I have is a JVC but it is 15+ years old. It's heavy, it's bulky, and doesn't have a very good zoom... maybe a 2x. I so want and could REALLY use a new JVC camcorder so that I can share videos of my two adorable and wonderful Grandsons, and of my two fur babies: Coffee and Latte'. And to get extra entries into the giveaway over at A Daily Dose with Toni I had to make the folllowing video. I used my teeny, tiny digital camera (the first time I ever took video with it) and finally figured out how to take the video and then how to download it, just so that I could get the extra entries and hopefully win. RAK/PIF

It's been a week or so and it's time for me to do what I love, give some things away. I am participating in another Random Act of Kindness aka Pay It Forward event.

The first 5 (five) people to respond letting me know they'd like to participate AND letting me know they want to host an RAK/PIF of their very own by posting this on their blog will: Get something made by me.

My First Yard Sale Outing of 2009

Boy did I have fun this morning. I went to my first set of yard sales of the season and found some great buys. I woke-up about 5:30am and had some coffee, let the dogs out to go potty, gave my bones and muscles time to wake up, and then I was out the door by 7 am with my huge assortment of tote bags so that I did not have to use any plastic bags. They come in handy so that I do not have to try and hold all my item in one hand while looking with the other. So much more convenient.

I found some awesome bargains and am so tickled. I was able to find several items for my Grandsons and myself.

I also got a few other miscellaneous items, some clothing items and some baby items for my Niece who is due in July. All in all, I had a great time and found some wonderful bargains. Even though I did not make it to all of the yard sales. There were a total of 24 yard sales today, but my legs wore out on me so I only got to about 1/2 of them.

During the whole time driving around. Starting and stopping my van was doing great. Then I came home to unload and chance clothes (I was burning up - hot flashes) before I went to Krogers and Wal-mart. When I got ready to head to Krogers and Wal-mart the van was giving me a hard time. It was not stay started and I ended up by coming back into teh house. My Sister said to call the guy at the shop that worked on it because he thought he fixed it, but it's not. So I will try again, to go to the grocery store, and hopefully this time Iw ill be able to make it.

I really need to pick up some Black Cohosh, as my doctor said he has had good luck with it helping with hot flashes. And believe me, I need some help as I am constantly in a state of freezing and then burning up, and freezing again. Plus I have not been sleeping well due to the night sweats.

I took more pictures, but the blog will only allow me to upload 4 pictures.... so until I learn what I need to do to upload more than 4 pictures, I guess you folks just won't get to see the other items. Sorry. If you went to some yard sales this weekend, I hope you were able to find some really good bargains like me.
