When I was making the Dotee Dolls for two swaps that I sign-up for over at Swapbot I made a mistake and thought I needed one Shabby Chic Doll and two Easter Dolls. But I goofed and needed vice-versa.....one Easter and 2 Shabby Chic. So here is the other Shabby Chic doll that I made and has already been sent off to it's new owner. Hope she life it.

Strawberry Needle Case
way too small. So I felt creative the other day and made
myself this strawberry needle holder. Figuring that if it turned out decent I might make some for my Sisters for Christmas 2008. This is about 3" x 4.5" and I have 6 pages inside. Since this was fun to make, I believe I will be using different fruits to make these for gifts.

Ice in the Midwest A-G-A-I-N !
Woke up early today as I was supposed to go to the doctor for some test. But alas we had freezing rain and a little snow again today. The doctor's office called me to cancel. I guess it will be several days before I will be able to get out of the house.
Hopefully I can get some artwork done in the mean time.
Here are some clay pieces I made to use in my paper arts. All day today I have had my hands in the clay conditioning it. But have not created anything today. Maybe tomorrow.

A few weeks ago my Mother was here visiting with me and stayed the whole weekend (I loved it), she was talking about this little boy my Niece had Fostered after he came out of the hospital. My Mother, who lives with my Niece, fell in love with this little boy. So one morning While my Mother was using the restroom, I went into my 'office' and made this card for her to send to him. The saying in the upper right hand corners says: "I like you just the way you are". And believe me, my Mother does. She just lights up when she sees this little guy. Even now while she is in the hospital and my Niece brings him for a visit.
Finally back with something to show....
Here I am with some eye candy for you all. Hope you like the Dotee Dolls that I made this past week. Three of them are for swaps over at Swap-Bot and the other three are just extras I will use for one-one-one swaps.

Oh What Fun......
When St. Paddy's Day rolls around I will be in the hospital having my left hip replaced. Oh what fun ..... N-O-T ! ! ! The surgery, believe it or not, only takes about 1-1/2 hours. But then a good 6 - 8 weeks to heal.
I will be in the hospital for 4 -5 days and then in rehab for another 5 days since I live alone and the doc doesn't want me to be alone that first week out of the hospital. So I will be missing my two fur babies very much and will be counting the time until I can get home to them.
Lisa Vollrath has some FREE Valentine's Day Images for download, you gotta' check them out. She always has such nice images that are great to use in your artwork, cards, or ATCs.
