Day 21 Giveaway with One Week Left

Good Morning (evening if you are across the sea) Everyone,

Today's giveaway is for something I am very proud of. I created this piece of jewelery by covering a polished stone with a blend of different polymer clay colors.  Once it was baked, I gently sliced through the clay and removed the stone.  I then strung this amulet on purple waxed linen using various purple beads to accent it.
I hope you like it and will enter to win this piece of jewelry that I am very proud of.  It is large enough to carry a few coins, or a special stone or two.  Or maybe you would rather store a love note inside.  The choice will be yours if  you are the lucky winner.
This giveaway is open World Wide.
**Mandatory Entry**
Post a comment to my question:

If you create art of any kind, what inspires your creativity?
(Thanks Julie for the question)

My Answer:

It depends on the material that I use.  If I am working on mixed media, then it is the vintage photos that I use that inspires me.  If I am working with yarn, it is the person for whom I am creating the object for, that inspires me.  If I am scrapbooking, it is the colors in the photo(s) that inspire me.

  3. Wow, looks like the only thing on the list I've not yet done is tweet this, so I copied and pasted your tweet and will go (hopefully, cause I've not tweeted this way before), after leaving your blog.

Sent you email with copy of the email you and I sent each other on March 11, the day you posted I won. Hope you get it ok.

    What inspires me? Hum
When it's someone I know I'm knitting or crocheting for their personality, their tastes inspire me.

But, since most of my knitting and crocheting is for charity, I would say I'm inspired by their need; and so my crafts are functional inspiration.

    Happy Sunday

  4. If you create art of any kind, what inspires your creativity?

I make wallhangings with textile and what I find in nature.
Nature itself inspires me now. The colours and forms.

I started making wallhangings inspired by the mother of a friend who made them very colourful. Mine are more nature coloured.

  8. Wow, I should hope you are proud of that! It's a technique I've never been able to make work. I blame the rocks.;) You've made it a triumph!

What inspires me?!? Oooh, I just hate that question! Because it's just about everything. Hmm..Boredom's the winner, though. Nothing like a good loooong stretch of nothing interesting going on to make my sketchin' hand itch.

And thus the internet kills my productivity.;) Ah well!

  11. What a wonderful little amulet. Love the process you described of creating it. I would love to wear it with positive affirmations tucked inside.
I find my creativity comes mostly from nature and from favorite magazines like Somerset Studio and cloth paper scissors.

  16. When I create, things usually flow. I might be inspired by a color or nature or a certain period in history. It's a bit like magic! :)
