24 Hour Cascade Challenge and GIVEAWAY

5/6/2010: comments now closed.

I had an opportunity to take 24 Hour Cascade Challenge from My Blog Spark and Cascade Complete.  And of course I took it.  Who wouldn't?  Right!  Besides I was given a $25 Walmart gift card to give away as well.

This was a fun fun challenge because it came with an easy and delicious recipe to make.  Blueberry Cobbler.  Along with a wonderful Corelle dish to bake the cobbler.

Thankfully I had all the ingredients on hand for the cobbler.  Except I used fresh frozen blueberries that I had in my freezer.

After the cobbler was gone (it didn't last long in my household) I was to leave it out for 24 hours.  Then into the dish washer, without rinsing or pre-washing the dish, along with one of the Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs.  Basically that was the challenge.

As you can see the dish went into the dishwasher along with other grungy dishes, and the Cascade ActionPac did a pretty good job I have to say.

My water glasses were spotless (something I don't get very often), and some glasses that had been left outside for quite a while and were pretty grimy came out pretty darned clean.  I have to be honest, the cobbler dish did not come out totally clean.  Was it because I used frozen blueberries?  Maybe my hot water isn't as hot as most dishwashers (my water heater is turned down, and I don't have the newest dishwasher, and I don't usually let me dishes set that long)?  Am I happy with the results?  Yes!  Did the Cascade ActionPacs work?  Yes!  Would I buy them?  You bet!

Put your pre-soaking days behind you, and lighten your load with Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs. They break down, dissolve, and rinse away tough food particles, leaving your hands free and your dishes sparkling. Sound too good to be true? We dare you to take the 24 Hour Challenge.  You can learn more at CascadeClean.

P&G through MyBlogSpark has generously offered to give one of my readers a $25 Walmart Gift Card so that you  can buy Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs to try out yourself!!

To win a $25 gift card,  all your have to do is leave me a comment telling me what meal leaves the most mess on your dishes.

For an extra entry you can follow my blog via Google Friend Connect (on the right hand side)

Giveaway will close on May 5th.  Winner will be drawn on May 6th, and an e-mail will be sent.  The winner will have 24 hours to reply or a new winner will be chosen.

This review was based on using complimentary Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs provided by P&G, through MyBlogSpark.  I also received a Walmart gift card to share with one of you, along with information on this product.  P&G does not represent  or warrant the accuracy of any statements or product claims made here, nor does it endorse any opinions expressed within this blog. I was not compensated and all opinions express are 100% my own.

  1. That's great! I'm posting mine tomorrow. Mine didn't come out ocmpletely clean either. I also used frozen blueberries....but really, that shouldn't matter :)

  2. I almost always rinse my dishes, but there are times when something comes up where you are out the door before being able to do the little extras. I have had spaghetti sit on a plate for an extra couple hours longer than usual and I have used Cascade pacs in the past. They have always done a decent job. :-)
