I am so very, very excited! I finally got my comments to be numbered with the help from the blog: The Computery , without her help I never would have been able to do this on my own. I had been searching on the web for several weeks now trying to figure it out. But I wasn't able to.
I can not express my "Thanks" enough to Miss Susie from the UK for writing the tutorial after spending countless hours figuring out how to make our comments numbered. Thank You Miss Susie!

Happy Easter
Hoping everyone that celebrates Easter is having a wonderful day with their friends and family! It's a quiet day but frustrating day here at my household. Just me and Conner, along with Coffee, Latte', Gabby, Tweety, and Patone.
The first thing I did this morning after getting my coffee started, let the fur babies out to go potty, and fed the feather babies.... I put together the Easter baskets for my 2 wonderful and handsome Grandsons. I started getting all the gifts together for my winners when Coffee had to go back outside. I never did make it back to the gifts (but I will, I promise). I have a one track mind.
Then I spent the better part of today getting my laptop running again. Not sure what happened, when I turned on the laptop and it got going I clicked on my e-mail program and then nothing wanted to respond. Computers are fabulous when they work and a pain in the patooty when they don't. This is the 2nd time this week I had to get this darned laptop going again. The first problem was caused by a web cam a friend gave me. I was so excited to get a web cam and be able to chat on-line face-to-face with friends and my family. That is not going to happen. Evidently the software does not work with Win 7. And now I am back logged with my mail because the past two days I haven't been home much for one reason or another (one being I took Conner to see "Clash of the Titans"... which was much better than I had expected. He and I both really enjoyed it.)
I would definitely recommend seeing the movie if you haven't. We saw the 2D version, not the 3D.
Well I am off to grab a bite to eat and then take a nap, I didn't sleep to well as my neighbors were out side until the wee hours...like 4:30am partying. I should have called the cops, but I didn't. I like to not cause havoc, but if it keeps up (if they do this every weekend), I will have to call the cops.
Be safe getting home if you traveled this weekend.
Hugs to all,
BrendaLea

Where have I been?
Nov 2nd:
Well, I have been at home, I have also been at my doctors, along with being at a friend's house having a yard sale. And while at home I have been working on my Brand New Acer Aspire 5517 Laptop that I won from CookiesKids.com getting it set-up and running.... and connected to my router so that I could get back on-line.
I really thought that I would have had internet withdrawal being off-line for nearly 2 weeks. But I didn't! I guess I kept busy having a yard sale for two different weekends, and a total of 4 days. I got rid of a lot of stuff and made a touch over $150.00. Could have been better, but I am very happy with the amount as my van is now in the shop as I have a gasoline leak. After the last day of the yard sale I stopped to put $20 worth of gas in my van and before I got the cap put back on I noticed a leak under the van. It was gasoline! I got scared and wanted to get my van home and get out of it. It was dripping pretty fast and so I haven't driven it since the 24th of October.
I have a new neighbor, she has two dogs just like me. One is a Chihuahua and the other is this sweet female all black dog, named Midnight, that I feel so sorry for. There are times that she leaves the dog out for 36+ hours at a time, with no shelter, no water, and no food. Like right now Midnight is outside, it's dark, 44 degrees and who knows how long she will leave midnight outside tonight. Midnight is so sweet, and she wanted some loving. Each time I go outside I always talk to her and many times I go over and pet her and she doesn't want me to stop. I am so tempted to call our local humane society and see if there is anything they can do. it's so cruel to leave a dog outside with no shelter, food or water.
My local newspaper is having a Dog Idol and the 12 finalist will be professional photographed and put into a calendar. I've entered my two babies using these pictures: Well i ahd planned on uploading some pictures, but I guess i don't have them on this new laptop yet. Sorry.
Nov 3rd:
The mechanic called today and informed that my alternator is bad. I had noticed the amp meter jumping around, but duh.... did not associate that with the alternator. guess the gas leak was more on my mind. So now I have to come up with $400 as that is what the bill is coming too so far. Yikes! Not sure what I am going to do. hat more than 1/2 of what I survive on in a month. Vehicles, what a pain they can be. Just like a computer. Great when they work properly and pain when they don't.
Doing some web browsing... instead of getting to my backed up e-mail I found this site with some very strange pictures, but beware some are not for the young or the frigid.

Still Plugging Away Trying to Get this Computer Set-up
Been very busy trying to get everything set up on this new computer...
It's not been easy, and I am getting closer. Then today I had Cable Internet hooked-up and boy it has been wonderful having it work so much faster. I love it! My Grandson, Conner, sure will be surprised when he comes over to see the cable internet. He will be ecstatic as his on-line games will work so much better.
Now I need to start getting some pictures uploaded on here so that it will be more interesting. I'm going to start off with some polymer clay pictures if I can figure that much out.

These are some bottles I made for the Bottles of Hope program. But I actually donated mine to a different Bottles of Hope program but for the life of me I can not remember the link as it has been some years back. I no longer have them as they have been distributed to various people. These were made several years ago, and were some of the first bottles I've made.

The bottle on the right is supposed to be an Iris. Not the best representation, but I tried.
This was a set of green bottles that I made. I recently won a huge Polymer Clay Cruise Gift Pack (no I did not go on a cruise, but wish I could afford to as it has always been my dream to go on one) via a contest that I found in the PolymerCAFE' magazine that was given via American Art Clay. This package of goodies (maybe I can get a picture of the majority of the items as some of them I have already put away, but most are still in the box they arrived in) has inspired me to get my hands back in the clay. It was an awesome set of goodies that added up to atleast $278! I received it just before Christmas and it was one of the best Christmas gift I got, except for the Samsung Camera that my Sister, Terry, got me this year. I love that camera.

Got my New Compute and I LOVE IT !!!!
I finally have a new computer and I love it! Still trying to get everything set up and software installed. Having trouble getting my printer to work which I just got as well. So I am in the process of downloading a different driver to see if that will work. Sure hope so. As I want to get back to creating some art.
I get ancy when I don't get to create some art each day, even if it's just a wee tiny little project or a start of a project. But like most things in life, first things first and that is getting this thing (computer) set up and running smoothly.
I have so many ideas and so many projects I want to create, but never seems to be enough time in a day, week, month or year to do all that I want to do.
I currently have some jewelry repairs to be done for a customer. Then another customer ordered a Calendar and Card Organizer after she saw one of the the ones that I made as Christmas presents. I still need to get pictures taken and then up loaded. Hopefully I can get that done in the next day or two.
Until next time.....create art when you can!
